Our COaches

Meet the coaches that make Wolfe Lair a welcoming environment for anyone who is wants to learn and improve!

Coach Jeremy Wolfe

Coach Wolfe has dedicated his life to athletics, coaching, and the art of grappling. Beginning his wrestling journey at a young age, he developed a passion for discipline, competition, and continuous improvement that has shaped both his athletic career and his approach to teaching.

For more than 30 years, he has coached athletes across a variety of youth sports, including 10 years as a high school wrestling coach at Jeannette. Those decades on the sidelines have taught him that every athlete learns differently. His ability to simplify complex techniques, encourage growth, and build confidence allows students of every age and experience level to thrive on the mats.

After discovering Jiu-Jitsu in 2007, Coach Wolfe embraced the sport as the next chapter of his lifelong grappling journey. He actively competes, understanding that testing techniques in live competition makes him a better coach for his students. His accomplishments include winning the 2024 IBJJF Virginia Open, earning podium finishes at numerous tournaments, and competing on the Fight 2 Win professional stage. Every match provides lessons that he brings back to the gym, helping students learn techniques refined under real competitive pressure.

Above all, Coach Wolfe is passionate about helping others succeed. Whether you're stepping onto the mats for the very first time or preparing for your next tournament, he is committed to creating a welcoming, challenging environment where every student is respected, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. His greatest accomplishment isn't measured by medals or titles. It's seeing the people he coaches become more skilled, more confident, and better than they were yesterday.
